Bestiality Legal & Anal Sex Against The Law
April 11, 2018 – 10 Louisiana Republicans voted to keep bestiality legal & anal sex against the law

The Louisiana state senate passed a bill yesterday to outlaw bestiality. The proposed law would separate the offense from the stateβs sodomy law that was ruled unconstitutional in 2003.
Ten Republican legislators voted against it.
Thatβs right, those ten think anal and oral sex (known in Louisiana law as βcrimes against natureβ) should be illegal, but screwing a goat is a-okay.
New Orleans Senator JP Morrell told his colleagues, βGod forbid you vote against this bill, good luck explaining it.β
Since the βcrimes against natureβ law includes both bestiality and sodomy, neither law is enforceable. Morrellβs bill would separate bestiality into itβs own law to ensure arrest for the crime. The law would make it illegal to have sex with an animal or facilitate the exchange of an animal for a sex act.
βAs you know, you can find anything on the internet,β Morrell said. βPart of what has developed is a huge market for the trafficking of animals for sex acts.β
But the bill included the line, βAnal sexual intercourse between two human beings shall not be deemed as a crime.β An amendment to the bill that would have struck down the unenforceable βcrimes against natureβ law failed.
The bill now heads to the state House of Representatives for passage.
